Citizens for Big Stone Lake
Description
Citizens for Big Stone Lake is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the water quality of the lake and promoting the Big Stone Lake area. We are funded by membership dues, donations and various fund raising events. Our more than three hundred members include lake and local residents, friends, and interested businesses. We hold annual meeting in June to elect board members for two year terms. There are twelve directors and four alternates. The directors hold monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month, in the media room in the basement of the Ortonville Library at 7:00 PM. The public is invited to attend the meetings and CBSL members are encouraged to share ideas and concerns with the board.
All proceeds from memberships and other fundraisers go toward lake improvement projects.
