Big Stone Lake Fishing Opening – Report

Thanks Artie for the Fishing Opener update and picture! (report below) Great fishing and limits of walleyes were reported for the Minnesota/South Dakota border water opener on Big Stone Lake which started at midnight Friday April 17. The first BIG fish of the year may have gone to the Bryon Schloemer of New Market, MN! Caught just 10 minutes after midnight was this nice 29″ walleye which is a personal best for Byron! The fish was caught in 6′ of water on the rocks! The first BIG fish of the year may have gone to the Bryon Schloemer! Caught 10 minutes after midnight was this nice 29″ walleye! If you are in the Clinton area and have a business or an event that you’d like covered, please contact Janine.  Link to Clinton’s Blog and Janine’s contact information:  MNClinton.wordpress.com Bloggers for Ortonville, Graceville & Johnson, and Beardsley & Barry will be going on-line soon!
