Meet Alexis Adelman – back to set roots down in her hometown

by Angie Haugen, Ortonville MNbump Connector

GREAT NEWS! There’s a new therapist in town…read below for more information on her:

“My name is Alexis Adelman but I go by Lexy. I grew up in the Ortonville area and graduated from Ortonville High School. I have moved to Tennessee, Arizona, and California while obtaining my education, and came back to set roots down in my hometown. I graduated from MSU Moorhead with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Minor in Coaching. I continued my education with Walden University and obtained my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Trauma and Crisis.

I work with clients of any age, but do have a special interest in working with children and young adults. Meeting my clients where they are is what I strive to offer. Being there for you and building a strong foundation for healing is what you can expect when having me as your therapist. I use a blend of Talk Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play Therapy techniques tailored to what works best for each individual.”
